Annual Dinner Dance & H. Carl Moultrie I Scholarship

In 1986, the Fraternity’s Alpha Alpha Chapter established the H. Carl Moultrie I Scholarship in memory of Sigma Delta Tau Legal Fraternity Brother and first African-American Chief Judge of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia, H. Carl Moultrie I. Each year at its Annual Dinner Dance, the Alpha Alpha Chapter presents to a first or second-year law school student who demonstrates scholarship and a commitment to public service, the H. Carl Moultrie I Scholarship. Proceeds from the Dinner Dance will be used to fund the H. Carl Moultrie I Scholarship.
